Hi Community, I'm a enthusiasm gamer and getting the best of the best is my hobby to build my computer.

However, I'm struggling with one last choice.

I currently own a HD 5970 and a 5870 trifire setup. ( i'm currently selling my HD 5870) and plan to sell my HD 5970 in a near future.

However, I'm facing a tough choice. I'm currently watercooling my CPU and plan to add the GPU in the loop. Considering the current gpu line up I wanna know what should I choose to replace my HD 5970.

2 * GTX 580 OC with the factory waterblock (like the EVGA one)
2* GTX 580 OC with custom waterblock
2 * HD 7970 with custom waterblock (voiding the warranty if I remove the fan)

Or just wait for the Nvidia GTX 6xx line up planned at the end of march ( but only GTX 660 is rumored to be available. no GTX 680)

I play on a 1920 *1200 resolution and I wanna max out BF3, Diablo 3 and any other future game.

I don't wanna get any dual gpu card so I can easily disable crossfire is required ( which is not possible on a dual gpu card like the HD 5970 or the HD 6990)

I would think your GPU setup is going to have no problem at 1080P for years to come.

yeah it is, but the only thing is Im seeling the HD 5870 for sure in one week.

So Im stuck with the HD 5970. One problem I faced with dual GPU card was when a game is not crossfire ready like Skyrim was at release, I couldnt disable crossfire ( i didnt had a HD 5870 at that time).

I wanna get back to 2 single GPU card and IF, i say if I need to disable crossfire/sli I still have one beast GPU running.
Or I might just buy one crazy single card and buy a second one in the future.

Ill wait for the kepler release to see what line of product they will offer. It's crazy how you cannot find any information about this new release.
