Hey everyone,

My new rig is having some problems, such as lengthy POST times. When I initially booted it, It booted perfectly and I was able to install Windows 8 on my SSD. However, I had problems of activating Windows 8 with the given product key. So I attributed this problem to being with the time & date being off in the CMOS. So I went into the BIOS to change the time & date. But this didn't work so I reset the CMOS (jumper & battery). And this is where my problem began. Basically, from hitting the power button it takes anywhere from 1-2 minutes for my computer to actually POST. And now, the BIOS doesn't recognize my SSD & HDD drive. I've tried a plethora of things, such as re-seating the RAM, and re-attaching the HDD and CDROM drive with different cables and the breadboarding method to troubleshoot.

My specs are:

Core i5 3570k
Gigabyte Z68-ap3
8GB Corsair XMS 3 -DDR 3-1600
GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Mushkin Chronos 120GB SSD
WD Caviar Blue 500GB HDD
Plextor CD-RW Drive
510W PC Power & Cooling Turbo SLI Power Supply

Thank you so much for your assistance and input!
