CPU coole

As I'm impatient my budget built was a work in progress for nearly a year and a half and is finally near completion. All I need is to buy some new case fans and new a cpu fan. The problem being is my the GTX550 Ti is loud even in idle. So is there any point of me spending extra trying to get a quiet fan and case fans that do the same as louder but cheaper fans?
