I am building a new pc right now. I am using the intel core i7 3770k and if it matters, the graphic card is a Palit GTX 680 jetsream 2gb, I mainly use the PC for web browsing and Intensive gaming, would the stock cooler provided be enough to handle these tasks?

PS. I am not going to overclock the CPU

Yes. Your maximum temp allowed is 72c according to Intel. But the hyper 212 or similar aftermarket heatsink is used by many gamers to lower temps. They sell for about $30 at places like newegg.com. If your temps and system are stable, I would continue using the Intel heatsink.

The only thing I hate about intel heatsink is the push up plastic pin, they are fragile...... (make it hard to clean / replace the thermal paste)

Stock cooler will enough for normal usage....

I would just get an aftermarket cooler anyway, they're not too much money. Lower temps are always a good thing, and I believe it will reduce noise a lot too.
