Hello, Im having some trouble installing my new graphics card and power supply. My old default power supply is 300w, im upgrading to a corsair 600w. Graphics are nvidia geforce 9100, upgrading to a Gtx 550ti. So the problem im having is that the new power supply doesnt have pins to connect to the old onboard graphics card so i cannot install my new graphics card. the 550ti requires 400w so i cant install it on my old psu. any help. When i turn my rig on lights and fans turn on but the monitor cannot detect a video source.

your power supply doesnt connect to the onboard graphics as such--you can even connect a graphics card to a

motherboard with no onboard graphics

to install the new graphics card just put it in the correct slot--make sure any 6 pin connectors are plugged into

the graphics card and 4 pin or 8 pin 12v is plugged into motherboard and 20/24 pin is plugged into

motherboard and turn on pc--if theres no display you are doing something wrong
