Hello,

I just recently put together the a new desk top, it is my first time doing this and I believe I installed all the following hardware correctly.

Motherboard- ASUS M5A97 EVO
Processor- AMD FX 4100 Quadcore 3.6
RAM- Corsair Vengence 8MB DDR3 1600Hz
Graphics- EVGA GTX 560 1 GB
HDD- Western Digital Caviar Blue 7200 RPM 1 TB
Tower- MSI Raptor
Power Supply- XION 850W AXP-850K14XE
Drive- Sony BlueRay/DVD R-RW

After I plugged all devices in to the motherboard and power supply and turned on the system, none of the case fans started up including the fans on the CPU and graphics card. At first I thought there was no power to the motherboard but when I looked at my motherboard the green LED indicating power/standby power/sleep mode was on. I tried pushing the power button on the front of the computer but to no avail. I'm not sure where I went wrong in this, I read and re-read every manual, watched the videos but still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

In addition to the main power cord to the motherboard, make sure you also attached the secondary one. your video card may also require power from the power supply.
