Hp pavilion dv6-1330ev webcam driver

Hello,

I have hp pavilion dv6-1330ev fon window 7 platform with a biult in webcam. As of now, the webcam is not functioning. Thru device manager, install, uninstall, update, install to original driver for webcam. It detects the webcam and driver working properly. But once use application such as HP media smart webcam or amcap, the webcam does not initate or work overll. To all the Guru out there..... Technical expertise extremely required??? Please advise?????

You've done all the the usual troubleshooting steps - good job there.
Was there any webcam setup procedure in the MediaSmart software?

My only suggestion is to try other webcam software. Like Skype or Windows Live Messenger and go through the Webcam setup procedure and see if it works there.
