Cmos checksum error

I am having a problem about cmos checksum error, every time I turn on the computer it will wait about 30 secs before the first beep. Then the CMOS checksum error occur, I have MSI R5450 MD1GH connected in my computer. If I remove the video card system boot runs normal. Is it the video card or the cmos battery has the problem? pls help me.

Yeah, I'd change the battery first to see if it died. If it's old, change it anyway.
