Hey All,
Was so excited to receive my new:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=14-102-948&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=3#scrollFullInfo
today, until i started to play and BF3 was completely unplayable on any settings whereas I could play just fine on low with my ati 4850. I was getting a CTD a minute or two into every game as well would just freeze up no matter where I was. Have not messed around with any settings in CCC yet, although GPU usage did not seem high, temp. either.
Specs:
1280x1024
4gb ddr2
dual core 3.0ghz
ati 6780 1gb
162gb hd
600w PSU
After a bunch of research I see that my cpu is not really up to par, but how is it that a new video card has hurt my performance? less RAM available? I was able to play fine on low with the 4850, little lag in close quarters fighting which i upgraded to try to combat that with, but to avail as of yet. Any help or suggestions are very much appreciated.
