Should I go with a 7970 CrossfireX configuration or a Nvidia GTX 590 SLI Configuration ?

Is there going to be a 600 series of video cards from nvidia coming out soon ?

they both maybe overkill first buy an single card and check what single card can do and then go for the second from both two gtx 590 is powerful but i will say you to buy hd 7970 which performs good in higher resolution and can handle three monitors easily.:)

What would you pick ?

7970 or GTX 590 ?

It looks like the GTX 590 is getting better results in benchmarks, but Im not sure if Nvidia are going to be bring a 600 series of video cards soon.

the 7970 is really good for its price compared to the GTX 590 is like $200 more and only abit better

Consider that adding a 2nd 7970 is going to give you nearly 80% improvement, but adding a 2nd 590 is going to be a lot less reliable and probably will only add about 50-60% improvements. Crossfire will scale better than 4 way SLI.

Yeah true, 7970's are quite abit cheaper aswell. Thing im scared of is if I buy them, then a new series of cards come out. But should be ok because the 7000 series from ATI came out not long ago.
