Do I need a PSU upgrade?

I'm currently running a system with these specs:

Asus P5Q
Core 2 Duo E7300
HD 4850
Seagate SATA 500GB
2x 2GB DDR2 800MHz
Corsair VX 450w

I plan to upgrade it a bit at a time 'cause I'm on a budget. If I get a P8Z68-V, an i7 2600K and 4x 4GB DDR3 1600MHz, do I need to upgrade my PSU as well or can I leave it for later?

As long as you don't get a new high end GPU before you get a new PSU, you'll be ok.

No.

You can run anything up to a 6850 and 550ti with that PSU.

All together you'll add about another 50W or so. You should be fine.
