Time for a new PSU?

I upgraded my motherboard, Ram, Graphics card and processor about a year ago and as much as I am happy with what I bought and would not change a thing I am deciding to go for a new Graphics card.

The powersupply it's self is much older, to about 4 years + but is apparently working brilliantly even now.
My specs are :-

OCZ ModStream 450watt (discontinued)
MSI 870A-G54 Motherboard
HD radeon Vapor-X 5770
Mushkin 2x2GB Ram
Phenom X4 II BE

I am looking to upgrade to the new Sapphire 7870 to get that extra bit of power from my gaming machine. I have no doubt it is wise to change my power supply and I can afford it but theoretically how urgent would you say this was? From what I can tell this power supply was not cheap for it's time and has ACTIVE PFC written on it.

What PSUs would you recommend I take a look at, my budget for the PSU specifically is around 50-70£ (above 50£ if there is noticable reliability)

My second question which is more of a tag on. Is it possible to CF a 5770 with a 7870? I plan to sell the 5770 but was curious if it was possible.

Many thanks guys!

Being generous my setup takes 410W with a 7870 installed but realistically I could knock off a bit of that.
What reasons lead you to believe the 7870 will be bottlenecked by my current setup?

Sorry mate I misread your CPU so I edited the comment. The gpu upgrade should be sweet.

April is long gone, you worried me!
Sounds like a good upgrade then, thanks for your input with the power supply link!
