what im planing on doing instead of going with a sandy bridge i5 im going to save up and upgrade to an ivy bridge i5 in the future so now based on this build opinions please?

Everything looks good except for one thing, the ram. I would recommend getting at least 8GB. I used to run 4GB because I thought it would be enough, but I was shocked to find out most games would max out my RAM  won't cost you that much more and get more performance :D not much to lose.

Are you planning to do any overclocking, by the way? If you are (with your i5, I mean) then you might want to pick something up like a Hyper 212 Evo.

Other than that everything looks good :) good luck.

after the 4.5 mark you don't get as much benefit

i would just go a i3 with a z77 "if" i was not near a microcenter

if you can find a microcenter within driving distance i suggest not even buying this yet and save up another 100-200 for an i5 3570k and a 670

I'd drop the SSD and just get the i5. Price on SSD will go down a lot more than the price of the i5. There is not much to gain on waiting on the CPU but there is on the SSD side of things. So, SSD and CPU cooler later.

Otherwise all look really good.

this^ happy gaming.

Essentially a doubling of bandwidth. For example, PCIE 3.0 8x will be the same as PCIE 2.0 16x. You MIGHT see a bit of performance increase, but I wouldn't think it would be too noticeable unless you have a beastly 4 card setup
