i have a psu and hardrive already. 850w and 1 160 ssd and 1tb hd
  3. in that case, go ahead and get an ASUS HD 7870 at $335

    new cost is $485
  4. thank you for the input but why the phenom II 960T. and im still thinking between the 7850 - 7870-and 7950
  5. price. 960T is good as well (its a hexcore with 2 cores turned off) there's about $100 difference between each class of cards; 7770: $130, 7850: $240, 7870: $340, 7950: $450, 7970: $550
  6. but its not 100% the other 2 cores can be unlocked and the FX 6100 is only about $6 more and i found a $7950 on newegg for $399
  7. no guarantee on the second unlock. 6100 is WORSE at gaming than the 965 or 960

actually i saw the FX series does great in games if overclcked and the mobo i have doesn't support the 965.

    anymore suggestions
  10. if the mobo doesn't support the 965, it won't support the 960 either, go for the 6100 in the case.
  11. it does support the 960T. All 95watt cpus are supported
