4x2gb ram or 2x4gb ram?
Aug 28, 2012, 11:13 PM
So basically my motherboard is dual channel but has 4 ram slots. So should I get 4 2gb sticks or 2 4gb sticks.
P.S If I get 2x4gb sticks I will get these as they look good ----------------->

I would suggest 2 x 4gb sticks so you can have room for upgrade. And those Corsair sticks are fine.

If you plan on expanding to 16 gigs soon, go with 2x4, if u only want 8 gigs, i'd get 4x2, the more the RAM is spread out the better.
