Havn't built a computer for many years, still running xp with a p4. Have been wanting to bring work home with me for awhile and finally have decided to build a new rig. The only real taxing thing i plan on using it for is 3d rendering programs. I havnt gamed for a long time but want to keep it somewhat up to date in case i decide to again.

Approximate Purchase Date: (one or two weeks from today)

Budget Range: (1500-2000) Before Rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (3d rendering (Daz,autocad) surfing, and some gaming(havnt gamed in awhile be Diablo 3 is tempting me)

Parts Not Required: (keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers,)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (newegg.com, amazon, anyother that is reliable)

Country: (United States, Ohio)

Parts Preferences: No real preference, has to be quality

Overclocking: must likely not

SLI or Crossfire: doubtful

Monitor Resolution: (1920x1080)

Additional Comments: (I would like a quiet PC, It may seem weird but the case needs to have only blue LEDs on it. Everything else i have is decked out with blue and it would just be wrong to have a different color on the case.)

Ok, so I have continued shopping, here is my wishlist from newegg i hope
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=24099687

I think i have everything but a Motherboard, quite frankly i get lost trying to decide. way to many of them. It seems like assus or azrock are high quality and often recommended here. Anysuggestions for the setup i have now would be gratefully accepted. all this shoping has really given me the bug to buy. I seen the gpu i sele cted recomended in several threads, is my psu big enough to handle it? will the case have enough air flow to cool it? and do i need a cpu cooler? and if so what kind would fit/be best.

This board was recomended by several people, seems to have alot of bells and whistles:

ASUS P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Still looking for info on cpu coolers and if i should buy extra case fans. Several of the items i have selected are combo deals, but i plan on running everthing through pcpartpicker to see if i can save some money and maybe get a new monitor or upgrade something else on my system. Heading off to bed for now, looking forward to any suggestions in the morning.
