Windows 8printers compatible with

I have an HP computer tower and a Dell A10 / A960 printer. Was advised by HP that it is not compatible w/windows 8. Is this correct & if so what besides an HP printer would be compatible. Thank you.

if it works on vista or 7 then chances are it may work on 8

none of my hardware so far hasnt worked on windows 8

printer i am using is epson sx445w aio
