So i bought an after market cooler with my cpu and i dont need the stock heatsink fan anymore.
I though "it could be a fun preject to make a portable fan out of it.
so i cut the fan out of the plastic mount and i cut off the plug.
I have a 9v volt battery mount which has 2 wires, 1 black and 1 red which are probably + and -, but for my cpu fan, i have 4 wires.
they are identified by the following:
yellow: +
black: -
green: S
blue: C
I tried connecting the black and yellow wires to the black and red from the battery mount and nothing happens.
is it because i need to do something with the green and blue cables or does this fan requires a fan monitor in order to work?
