So I've had this Dell Dimension 8400 for a while now, with its relatively nice Pentium 4 HT 3.0ghz inside of it. Well, I've upgraded this thing as much as I could, given its limitations, and I've decided this "8400" motherboard and poor ventilation are enough; I'm breaking it out!
I'm salvaging pretty much everything besides the motherboard and case. The problem is, I can't seem to separate the CPU from this massive green box thing that encloses the heatsink and fan!
Can anybody here help me with dissembly? Surely someone's had to take apart a Dell before.
