Obviously a video card upgrade is what you need.

HD6850, HD6870, GTX560 (not ti, not se, not 448core), HD7750.

You didn't mention your power supply or monitor resolution which are the two most important factors in choosing a video card.

thanks for the supply, ill take your word, a video card seems like a good thing to upgrade, my monitor resolution, where can i find that? Sorry for my ignorance :/

As for the power supply, its a cooler rmaster 500

ugh, coolermaster 500 really only put's out 400w, so your limited there. A 6850 isn't going to be much upgrade so I'd recommend at least a 6870, but your probably going to need a new psu for that.

For resolution, right click your desktop, choose personalize or properties, then display settings. Make sure the slider is all the way to the right (high). Below the slider it will tell you what the monitors resolution is.

right checked it, and its definitely 1920x 1080

so a video card HD 7750? :)

can i also ask, hope its not much bother, but since im very new to all this "upgrading pc" thing, iv looked on amazon, and there are many different "brands" of 7750, like sapphire, VTX, what do yuo recommend for me, as the prices are different and im confused by how they differ from each other

oh, and i misread your reply, i need a new power supply? :o

Hmm, any advice you can give me on what specific psu to buy? ,

I listed cards in your budget range. I don't think the 7750 is going to be much of an upgrade. I would recommend a HD6870 as the minimum.

I can't really suggest a power supply without knowing what country your in.

If your in the USA,

$45 after $5 promo code and rebate

I recommend XFX for a video card brand.

You should look into upgrading your video card.
