Do I need a better motherboard?

I am building my first gaming pc and I'm finding it hard to make sure theres no bottlenecks and that everything is compatible. I pretty sure everything is fine apart from by motherboard. The manual that came with it is pretty useless in terms of specs. It says 3.2 GT/s, which I think refers to the bus speed. I also have the AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition. So my question(s) are:

Is GT/s bus speed?

If not, how do I find my bus speed?

Is this a good/bad bus speed?

Is it slowing down my CPU? How?

P.S I'm guessing 3.2 GT/S is bad because the motherboard was one first things I bought and I got a cheap one because I didn't realise it's importance.

I am gratefull for any information.
