Yes, For optimum performance, when two PCI Express cards graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEx16 and PCIEx8 slot (The two top ones). Also, make sure your other components such as PSU and CPU are compatible are not bottlenecking. Good Luck .

^^ Hey I know that most all the MOBO's out there with 3 PCIe slots, the first two are the x16 and x 8 but this one odd MOBO which I happen to own is not in the normal order.

The Top one is x16 the second one is x4 and the third is x8. You would not be able to put two card that take two spaces in the first two slots. Yeah this is a odd one for sure.

On a normal MOBO it would go like you said but if you don't own this one you wouldn't even know.

@OP do what refillable suggested and make sure that your power supply (PSU) is enough power and supports CF and that your CPU is a descent one because you didn't post your spec's.
