Need monitor advice

Hey all,

I need advice on getting a monitor for my new gaming rig. My budget is around $200 cdn. I do have a gtx 680 so I would want something that can display games in HD.
Now my knowledge about monitors is slim to none, so maybe you guys could give me some tips on what to look out for when purchasing and I'll wait for one to go on sale.

I would highly recommend getting a 120hz monitor. Tearing is no fun and 120 FPS is oh so so buttery smooth.
