What is the most strongest and fastest CPU in the market?

Hi forum,

I am trying to build a new super powerful PC, and I was wondering what is the most powerful desktop CPU in the market at the moment (Please, Let's ignore the budget matters)?

I have been thinking about getting: Intel Core i7-3930K - What do you think about it?

I read that Intel Core i7-3960X is great, But it is too rich for my blood and I really cannot afford it.

So apart from (i7-3960X), I want to ask you, Is there anything else Intel in the market at the moment that is stronger and faster than (i7-3930K) ?

I would greatly and sincerely appreciate your inputs !

Yeah, the 3930K should be second fastest in multithreaded loads. In single threaded however the i7-3770K is faster.

It depends what you want to use it for

3960X fastest in applications that can use all 12 threads. EG video editing, video transcoding, modelling, simulation. A 3930K is not far behind.

3770K faster than 3960X in applications that can't use more than 8 threads.

3570K just as fast as 3770K in applications that can't use more than 4 threads.

The Intel Xeon E5-2687w which is supported by some workstation boards has 8 cores 16 threads for almost $2000 usd. The 3930K is a great processor if you can afford to compromise a few cores and some threads.

get i7 4790k i am using hittest processor it only losses from i7 5760k
