More about would corsiar gs700 good 480x2
  1. yes it will be fine but no overclocks.:)

but in my opinion dont go with that two really they are not so good they runs hotter if u can get then get a hd 6870 cf which is littlebit low in performance but a good card and they doesnt use that much of power and gtx 480 is a power hungry card.

Ty but i think i wanna go with Nvidia this time around had allot of driver issues !!
  3. so better then that go with a gtx 560ti sli.:)
  4. btw there is not much issues with amd drivers most of the people are using amd card but in cf some issues may occur thats why go with the gtx 560ti sli.:)

I'm leaning toward a "no" on the GTX 480 SLI.... they are not shy on power consumption. It all really depends on your other components though. Use the PSU calculator and see where you're at! :)
  6. Two GTX480s will use around 500W just by themselves. Toss in a 100W quad core CPU and your at 600W. Not counting anything else or OCing. It will probably run ok, but you'll be right at the limit of the PSU and as mentioned don't even think of OCing.
  7. I am swaping out my Corsair GS700 for a Corsair TX850 V2 :)
