Case butten Settings

Not exactly sure where this post is supposed to be.


The reset button on my case is annoying i sometimes press it and it insta reboots my comp. I find this annoying. I tried changing it through windows to no avail. So now I am here asking for help.

I would like to change the function of my cases reset button to put my computer to sleep or simply disable it.

a reset button instantly reboots your computer . Its hardware , so I dont think a software setting can change that

Yep. Just unplug its header from the motherboard. Check the motherboard manual to determine which of the little wires it is. You can make your power button put the computer to sleep, though.
