I have a real magic hollywood playback card that has a
S/PDIF output for Dolby Digital AC-3 surround sound and a
Toshiba DVD-ROM model SD-M1202 that came with the card
connected to it, all the wires are connected correctly
inside my computer cd-rom to soundcard etc, can i connect
my dvd decoder card to the The DeskTop Theaterâ„¢ 5.1
DTT2200 speaker system and recieve 5.1 sound, In the
decoder book it say's that the card provides full 6
channel surround sound when connected to a Digital
Surround Sound amplifier, I know that the SB live 5.1
cards are the best to use but i don't have the money for
that right now and I want my home theater, can i get by
with just the decoder card and the The DeskTop Theaterâ„¢
5.1 DTT2200 speaker system?

Yes, if you use the SP-DIF output on the decoder.
