12V Molex Connector Question. Help Needed.

If i connect a molex extender like this one to my molex connection from the power supply,and cut the head off, revealing the wires.

would i be able to power this 12V led strip by connecting the yellow to the positive(red i think?) and black to the black?

Any help is appreciated

Yes, you don't have to strip the molex connector, just stick the wire in and glue it.

And yes yellow is 12+ and both black are ground (negative).
