Hello,
I'm looking into upgrading my power supply in order to install a new video card. I just wonder if installing a stronger power suppy affects the motherboard or not. I found a power supply to fit. Just need to know if its going to hurt the motherboard or not.

No, no effect on the motherboard at all. A PSU will only supply as much power as the system needs, so there's no such thing as overpowering the system or any of its components.
