wanting to build my own pc would these components go together, CiT Vantage Midi Mesh Gaming Case with HD Audio, 4 Fans, Card Reader and No PSU - Black , Corsair CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 SDRAM Memory - Corsair , Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard (Socket AM3 , Up to 16GB DDR3, USB 3.0, uATX) - Asus , AMD HDZ965FBGMBOX Phenom II X4 965 - 3.4 Ghz AM3 Black Edition CPU, Retail Packaged - AMD CiT 480W Power Supply Unit with PSU and Dual 12V Rails - Black Edition.already bought the psu so dont really want to buy another and going to use dvd drive and hddd off my old computer

Don't go with AMD. There are no AMD processor at the moment that beat intel processors at any price point.

Also you would get more responses if you formatted your question more clearly.

For Example:

CPU - AMD Phenom II x4 965
PSU - AMD CiT 480w
 
Jsrudd is right on the formatting part but i beg to differ with the AMD BS you just stated. So your telling me.... And lets put this on the fire line... A Phenom II X6 wouldn't beat a Core I3? you may wanna restate your statement... Because your in for a rude awakening from both sides. A Phenom II X6 or Phenom X4 is just as good of quality as an i5 2500K and the Phenom X6 does just as good with work loads as a 2600K.
