Hi im planning a new build and i was thinking of:

AMD Bulldozer FX-8 8120 3.1Ghz Socket AM3+ 8MB

MSI 970A-G46 Socket AM3+

EVGA GTX 560 SuperClocked 1GB GDDR5

Would be getting 8gb corsair 1866mhz ddr3, 1Tb hard drive and 650 psu.

If anyone can think of anything better or things to reconsider any suggestions are welcome :)

Thanks

Hi sorry, these are the list of parts I'm buying, hopefully by the end of the month;

http://orders.ebuyer.com/customer/shopping/index.html?action=c2hvd2NhcnQ%3D

Will be using mainly for gaming, some photoshop and video encoding(not too bothered about encoding speed or anything though)

I will be using a 1360x768 monitor I'm using now, and i have O/S, keyboard, mouse and speakers

Thanks

We can't see your list. It depends on you being logged in. Anyway, the 8120 is a bad choice. The 2500K is far faster, more power-efficient and not much more expensive, especially if you can get it at a physical Microcenter store for $180.

Ah it didnt think about the link thing, doh! Budget is arounf £600 though the cheaper the better, was planning to spend no more than £120 on the cpu i5 is out of budget me thinks, will be buying everything from ebuyer.com

I do plan to overclock though thats why I thought of the fx 8120, a friend has an fx4100 and that seems pretty good??
