Samsung 830 audio studdering

My system audio has started to studder. The only hardware change that I have made is adding a Samsung 830 ssd. I have updated all the software for my motherboard and video card. It only happens when I'm on the internet playing a game or streaming media. Is it possible it could be latency spikes due to running on wireless?

it is possible, does it continue to happen if you hook up your computer with an ethernet cord?
