Upgrade from GTX 460?

hey guys my 460 died on me i need something better but not to pricey , i was looking at getting the 560ti SOC @ 1ghz seems to perform very well against a reference 570 and in some cases beats the 570 .... i enjoy playing games at its max settings at HD so please advice something i wont regret buying

thanks much needed info there but i was actually looking for a bench done with the 560ti 448 and the gigabyte 560ti SOC thats @ 1ghz ive read up that 1 performs better than the 570 in some cases

I'll need to look into that.
It's a bit difficult to know the difference, since you can't compare the different benchmarks as they're using a different test set-up.
But judging by the two, the GB GTX560 Ti SOC is a bit better. But only by just.

You can get the GTX 560 Ti 448 cores.
The other one is superclocked. While the one I linked is a stock. You can overclock later on, if you feel like it.

true true but take in to count price difference the SOC 560ti performs like a stock 570 which i assume is enough to run games now at full hd ...basically is the 448 worth the extra cash ? and do you no the price dif between the 2?

But by the way you're saying, the SOC seems cheaper than the 448.
But the GTX560Ti 448 does perform similarly to a stock 570 and OC'ing should result in it being better than the GTX 560 Ti SOC and the 570.

good point maybe i should just settle for the reg. 560ti OC and hopefully it will run like a stock 570 that way il safe cash because the 570's ar double the price of the 560ti

I wouldn't say the GTX 570 is close to a GTX 560 Ti 448 in price.
$40-45 more doesn't seem worth it.

IMO, the 570 doesn't seem to be worth the extra cash.

$20- $30 is more like it even less GTX 570s for $300 are getting common place.

But the considering that the performance/price ratio is low, I wouldn't consider an extra $20-30 or $40 for a 570.
The performance difference is negligible.

I guess it's just a different manufacturer.
Yes, I did notice that.
But this one is already OCd. The GTX 560 Ti 448 isn't and it can be OC'd later on, if the OP wishes to do so. The 570 is good, but I don't consider the extra money as being worth it.
