I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden my Catalyst Control Center only has 3 tabs:
>Pinned
>Presets
>HydraVision

Before it would have a list under it including overclocking and 3d application settings. I tried installing the 12.2 amd package and same thing.

I am using Windows 7 64 bit, Diamond 6970
a b K Overclocking

WHQL 12.2 driver is buggy. I had a better experience with 12.2 preview... try to shut down AV and other programs while you install. You could also try pre WHQL 12.3 and the 12.4 beta.

12.3 ~ http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=2858

12.4 ~ http://downloads.guru3d.com/AMD-Catalyst-12.x--8.96-Feb...

Ok then, it does sound like a lot of component is missing during the installation. Reinstall like russ says.
