The 6770 has higher core and memory clocks, but the 6850 is 256 bit compared to 128 bit.
Which one is more bang for my buck? If there's not too much of a difference I'll probably stick with the cheaper one.. $30 less and i still need a power supply.

I'm not too worried about overclocking, but I might want to crossfire, well.. when I get a job lol.

Currently I have a 450 watt PSU with 25 amps off the 12v. is this good enough for either one?

Easily the 6850... PSU may be good enough but I'd look into getting another. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026 but if you're going to CF get a high quality 750-800w PSU.

Meh... I won't try to over-complicate it but the PSU is the single most overlooked and important piece of hardware in a computer.

What would be your budget? Total, for GPU and PSU?

Don't worry your PSU is fine 6850 is very low power GPU 127watts max under load 450watts PSU is lots.

Good at trolling are we? Do you go into everyone's thread to give horrible advice? It's axiomatic your reading comprehension is pretty low... read the OP's original post again, and slow (so you can understand).

X 2 for CF you have TDP of 466w. Add 25% to be safe = 582.5w just for the cards.

An aggressive approach but better safe than sorry. Plus a nice PSU for $59.99 after rebate.

Have a nice fun filled day!
