Idle Temperature is this ok?

Hello,

I was just curious to whether or not the temperature of my Intel i7 3820 (Not over-clocked) idle temp of around 28-30 celsius is normal? I am using the Corsair H100 with push pull configuration (4 fans)????

Im just curious because when I first installed it I noticed idle times of minimum of 18 celsius?

28 - 30C is vary cool, they can take upwards of 80C before they start to throttle.

Your idle temp largely depends on the ambient temperature there, I'd hazard a guess that your room temp is around 18-20'c if you are idling at 30 on that set up
Its fine though, I know a lot who idle at 40'c+

Typically the CPU temps will be 10-12 deg C higher than ambient on idle.
My PC idles at 40-42, with the ambient being 28.
