ran into a bit of a problem. upgraded an old custom build to windows 7 tried to install the driver for the card only to realize that there is no win7 driver for the card.

Im looking for any pci or agp card that has 2 outputs, either dvi or vga no preference. not looking to do any gaming, just need 2 monitors for office work.

i looked on newegg and found a couple but the ones i found said they only supported win 2000 or xp

does anyone know of an old graphics card that will work with windows 7?

trying to keep price low since its an old computer, the owner just wants to keep using it and really wants to be able to use 2 monitors.

thank you

first give the name and model of motherboard because a agp card will not fit in a pci slot and same the other way

Might have a bastardchild asrock 4 core dual sata with both pcie and agp. Eitherway a 2600xt or similar will work with windows 7 using the hotfix drivers.

The OP mentioned that his computer is old so it's likely to have an AGP port and PCI ports.

Only "el cheapo" motherboards lacked an AGP port.
