Is this system well balanced?

Antec 1200 Case
1000w Kingwin Lazer PSU
i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz
ASRock Extreme 3 Gen 3 Motherboard
128 GB Patriot Pyro SSD for OS and Games
2x 1.5 TB Seagate 7200 RPM Hard Drives
1x 3.0TB Seagate External Hard Drive
WinTV 1800 TV Tuner
2x GTX 465 Flashed to GTX 470's in Sli
Logitech MX3200 Wireless Mouse and Keyboard
Logitech G27 Wheel
42" 1080P LG

Is it worth upgrading anything? Maybe a better Keyboard+Mouse combo? Nothing drops below 60 FPS not even BF3 set to Ultra 64p maps. iRacing gets 140-240+fps. Dirt 3 stays well above 100fps

Games played Dirt3, BF3, iRacing and looking at some others.

More about system balanced
  1. if you are comfortable with your current mouse and keyboard, don't change it. as far as your system goes I dont see any bottlenecks. looks good to me.
  2. cool thanks
  3. Eh, so you already own the system? What's the point of asking then?
  4. Main problem is wireless. Wireless =/= gaming.
  5. If the seagate hds arent in raid, invest in a RAID card.

    Meaning response lag?

    For what reason?
  8. RAID 0 will give you a performance boost, reducing HD bottlekneck,

Mind you the SSD will do fine on its own if your using that for more than just a boot drive

Very much so. I find wired to be much more responsive.

Yeah it is but it doesn't make me any better at BF3. iRacing on the other hand well that's a different beast.

Maybe thats why i suck at BF3. the firing seems to lag.
  13. I would get mice and keyboards with 1KHz responses to feel better and more responsive. Costs $50-$60 for each though. :/
