Motherboard is crossfire ready and video card is crossfire ready will they work

Hello,
if i have a motherboard with ATI Radeon graphics built in with crossfire ready and a ATI radeon HD video card that is crossfire ready would they work together or would u have to disable the graphics on the motherboard

they will not run in xfire mode.you need two identical cards.

Actually, the answer of whether you can crossfire the integrated video adapter with a stand alone video card depends on the model of each. Some configs are compatible.

What make/model of motherboard are you using?

What make/model of video card do you have?

I have an ASUS motherboard with a Integrated ATI Radeon™ HD 3000 GPU,
and added a gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6450, i have the AMD FX 6100 6 core cpu

sorry did not put the model with that it is a asus M5A78l-Mlx plus mother board
