What printer should I buy?

I want to get a new printer, but I'm not sure which I should buy. I would like a cheap printer. Could you guys recommend one? I was thinking of buying the Canon i450 printer.

I just bought a canon i550. USB 2.0. It's pretty darn good. It uses the think tank system and the cartridges are only like $11. Not bad at all.

I bough a cheap HP laserjet many years ago and I've only needed to replace the toner once, and that is with fairly non-trivial use. Definitely worked out cheaper than getting an ink-jet in the long run.

For non-color, laser jets are fantastic. Even color versions are dropping in price.
