Some places sent me games as service messages and I want to take these JAR
and JADs out of my 7250i and then save them to hardisk for in case my phone
needs a lobotomy, what software and cable is required?

MobiMB is available from
http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/register.php?id=51 with one years
free updates (this is a special offer that they seem to be running at
the moment).

You can also get an infrared port there, but check that you don't
already have one built in to your PC or laptop.

I guess this is personal choice.

I use USB infrared, and the advantages I see are that it means that I
still have a free com port, and I find the USB drivers easier to deal
with.

USB infrared ports tend to be more expensive, but you can also seem to
get more choice- and some of them look great!

I use the Actisys IR4000U- it is small and silver, and convenient for
my laptop as well as my PC.

I purchased through LogoManager, as I knew they would provide support
if I had any problems with it and their software.

Mine is: http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/cat.php?id=124, and they
also sell a cheaper one:
http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/cat.php?id=122 and the serial one
they have is cheaper still:
http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/cat.php?id=121.

I can highly recommend the Actisys over and above some other
manufacturers as I have had no problems with the drivers (which I have
heard can be of issue with other manufacturers).
