Semi-new to building. 2000$ budget for gaming rig please help!

I am looking for a great gaming computer that is somewhat future proof and is powerful. I would like to use a new ivy bridge processor and a thermaltake gt snow edition for the case but other than that I don't really know what to choose. Included in the 2000$ I need a screen, mouse and keyboard. Thanks!

I highly recommend ditching the MOBO. Most likely, you will not need any of the extra features. Get the ASRock Extreme6 Gen3 and upgrade GPU to a GTX 670/680.

Going to swap out the mobo for that one and try to look for a 670 that isnt out of stock

@ the OP

1) That gtx 570 is outdated. It's a power hog that doesn't support PCI-E 3.0 not to mention it's at best a middle of the road card since the release of the new generation cards.

2) That psu is not a psu you will ever see recommended on here

3) That case has "HOSE JOB" all over it. If someone on here had a $10,000 budget I still couldn't recommend that case. It's a gimmick and nothing more.
