New build gaming pc BF3 800 bucks

Last response: in Systems

Approximate Purchase Date: ordering by the end of this month

Budget Range: less than $800

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (BF3) maxing out doesn't concern me with considering the money I have. I just want a good gaming experience of 40 FPS or so at the highest settings possible :)

Parts Not Required:keyboard, NEED a mouse, no monitor needed and have a copy of windows 7

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com

Country: India

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU. Preferably cool looking case (if affordable)

Overclocking: I don't think this budget would afford that but if it can I probably would

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1680 x 1050

Additional Comments: Need it to run cool cause temps are high in India anyways

This is what I have so far:

Intel Core i3-2120 3.3GHz Dual-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
EVGA GeForce GTX 480 1.5GB Video Card
Antec One Hundred ATX Mid Tower Case
Antec 550W ATX12V Power Supply

Totals about - 750 and leaves 50 for a mouse.

Too much spent on motherboard, not enough spent on GPU :)

can you recommend a motherboard, im not good with knowing which ones overclock etc. :/

You cannot overclock an i3-2100 or i3-2120 anyway so don't worry about over-clocking.

You need a K series processor in order to do this. For example i5-2500K or i7-2600K.

what motherboard would be good for the build above then?

You should look into buying a GTX 570 HD. I recently got a GTX 570, but i know the GTX 570 HD is going on sale. With this card youll be able to run BF3 on High at 60 FPS and Ultra around the 50s.

For the Mobo, im not entirely sure.

Thanks MrKopaka1016.

Now I am at about 780ish bucks which leaves me a measly 20 for a mouse :/  however if I get a cheaper board as AdrianPerry recommended, I might have 50 bucks.

Any suggestions? Please recommend mice that you have tried :)

Only the Z boards can be OCed; maybe the B boards, but I'm not sure on that one.

get the 2500k if you are wanting to overclock as mine is as 4.1 ghz with ease and get an extreme3 z68 board or the pro3 z68. Also I recommend the cooler master hyper 212 for $20. And the 570 is an excellent card btw

ok so:

15 2500k
z68 pro3 gen3
Antec 100 case
G.Skill 8GB RAM
600W PSU - brand undecided - probably antec or PC power and cooling
GTX 570
Hyper 212 Plus
Caviar Blue 500GB

But I come out to like 900 bucks now - help save me at least 50 bucks from this!?
Will this max out most games these days if I OC?

If I go with 7850 I can save about 50 bucks but will the build above with the HD 7850 be able to max out games like BF3 at possibly 1920 x 1080?

I think the 7850 will give you acceptable frame rates maxed out. Probably around 35 if I had to guess. It will def be playable at max settings.
