Lian Li PC-V351 support bracket for PSU?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at my new PC-V351 case. It is designed so that the PSU mounts at the top. There is a small lip at the back of the case that the PSU will rest on, and then, also at the back of the case, are four short screws that will hold it in. The lip is quite short, and it seems like there should be support elsewhere for the PSU, like a bracket. Otherwise the heavy PSU hangs over the mobo and other delicate components, being supported only at the back of the PSU.

On Lian Li's site, they have great photos of the interior of the case, and show no such extra bracket:

http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/product06.php?pr_index=317&cl_index=1&sc_index=25&ss_index=63&g=spec

But on Tom's Hardware site, in photos of a review of the case, it seems like there is something underneath the PSU:

http://www.tomshardware.com/gallery/lian-li_pc-v351_filled-right,0101-221534-0-2-3-1-jpg-.html

Does anyone have any thoughts--particularly anyone who has used this case? The lack of support seems disturbing, especially given that Lian Li provides enormous, strong metal brackets for extra support to hold in (bottom mount!) PSUs in their larger cases.

Thanks!
Heather

That's your eyes playing tricks on you , what you are seeing is the bottom of the HD bay
I'd put a smaller psu than the HX850 beast in it and not worry

  3. Thanks so much delluser1, that's what I was hoping to hear! Great answer.

Maybe by the time I'm done stuffing all the cables in the case there will be enough extra "support" for the PSU ;-)
