i5 3570k processor

evga gtx 680

corsair 750 watt power supply

hyper 212 evo fan

asrock lga 1155 z77extreme4 mobo

corsair 8 gigs of ram

1 tb hardive

  1. Absolutely.

    I might suggest going with a 670, though. Cheaper for not much worse performance than the 680, especially if you OC it a bit.

    Not really, I'm not a case guru, unfortunately. Just don't know enough about most of them to give you a good recommendation. I do like a few of the Cooler Master cases though.

    Oh yeah, you could get away with a good quality 550W unit for just a single 680/670.

    I honestly don't know which is better, but I do know that a 670 OC's very well.

    If this is a mostly gaming centered build, the 3570K is all you'll ever need (at least until the next time you want to upgrade).

    If you want to do a TON of video editing or 3D modeling, then the 3770K would be good. The 3570K is still very capable at those two things, but the 3770K would just do them faster.

    No real difference at all between them in gaming, though.
