Phenom II 965 BE overclock

I just overclocked my CPU to 3.8ghz and when it was under load a bunch of programs crashed and my speakers made weird noises. Is this a voltage problem?

Sounds more like an overclocking problem...wind it back...

If you're going to overclock, make sure to change it in increments and run a stress test after each to make sure it is stable.
