I'm trying to install the latest version of Ahead's software for burning namely NERO5.5. My problem is getting rid of the files from my other burning programs. I assume the drivers are the problems.
I had versions of Adaptec, Just Burn, Music Match before I started with NERO.
I can run the demo of NERO OK but the full blown version gives me errors and it freezes my computer. My computer has been VERY stable for the past several months. So I don't think it is a fault with my computer.
I deleted the exisiing programs by the uninstall file that came with each of the programs. I did a search or find to locate any other files and deleted them.
What else can I do to eliminate any files that are still on my computer? I assume there are some techniques other than what I have used. I have purchased NERO and would like to be able to use it. Also it does seem like a nice program.
Any help would be appreciated.
My computer is a Compaq 5835 with a Celeron 500MHZ, 256MB, Win98SE, 10 Gig HD.
