Video card

Hello,
I have an "NVIDIA quatro nvs" video card in my "hp workstation xw6000". i run win7 premium... but my computer crashes to a blue screen, every time i try to use any kind of program that involves video... the report i get from the problem solver is that my vid card doesn't support directx 9... is there a card i can get for my system that will cure this problem please...

uhh update directx? run this command from the start window: dxdiag . And once you've ran you'll see a window. At the bottom of the window check for your directx version number. Once done so go depending on which version it is to update. If directx11 then you are good. If this doesn't solve your issue RMA the video card.
