An NVIDIA Graphics Card was not detected in my system?

I just purchased a GTX570, and have been having so much trouble trying to get this thing to work. Now I have been reading a lot of threads, and people are saying this is usually a PSU problem. I have an 850w power supply, I plugged in both PCI-E 6 slot pins to my Graphics Card, so there isnt a problem there. I uninstalled all of my old drivers too. I plugged in my monitor to my motherboard, and it works there, but not when I plug it into my Graphics Card. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

you need to disable your on board video in the device manager, verify that the GTX 570 is enabled and that the drivers are up to date. Did you do all of this?

I dsabled my onboard video, and my drivers are up to date, but how can I tell if my GTX 570 is enabled? The fan is going on it.

In the device manager, you would take the same steps you did for disabling the on board, only you will be enabling the GTX 570. What are your full system specs, it might help to narrow down the problem here.

Also, is your bios the most recent version? I've heard of some Asus boards not supporting certain GPUs without a bios update, so I wonder if that is going on here?

Make sure in the BIOS setup you configure it to use the PCIe slot for graphics before the onboard video.

Wow, im stupid. I just opened up my tower again, and noticed a little wire was preventing the edge of the card from going in all the way -.- lol thanks guys, just a stupid mistake by me!

hey i have a nvidia gtx 570 and when i turn on my computer the fans spin everything is running but it doesnt show up on my screen its completely black!! can some please help me!!!
