  1. Do you have a budget?
  2. Need to ask these questions...

Do you plan a mulitple SLI (multiple GPU) set up in the future.
What websites are you buying off?

For your current specs this would be enough-

    http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CMPSU-430CXV2UK-Builder-Series-CX430V2/dp/B0057GTW56/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ce_13
  3. yeah, around 100$, maybe less
  4. No i do not plan a multiple SLI.
    website is flipkart.com
  5. can you please suggest something better?
  6. I am not sure will the corsair be able to handle my gpu also the corsair comes with 1 pci-e connector while the asus gtx 560 requires 2??
  7. cx500 - 600W more watt will be good
  8. A few options in order of preference:
    1. Seasonic S12II-430
    2. Seasonic S12II-520
    3. Antec Earthwatts EA-500D
    4. Corsair CX500
All are sufficient for your PC and have sufficient PCIe power connectors.

The corsair cx430 supplies around 345w and gpu + processor is going to be 245w and mobo around 100w and peripherals will also take some power. Is it a good idea to go for cx430?
  10. The mobo draws 100W?

    What mobo have you got.

Wouldn't go for the CX, why buy a new psu that doesn't have all the connectors you need ?

Even with overclocking 430 watts is enough for the spec
These guys use an overclocked I7-920 / X58 system, your not going to use as much power
    http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/hardware-canucks-reviews/43366-nvidia-geforce-gtx-560-1gb-review.html

286 watts from the wall running 3D06
    82% psu efficiency
~235 watt DC load, did I mention that you wouldn't use as much power ?

Will be a bit higher with some games, not enough to worry about if you choose a good quality psu like the S12II 430

I have a gigabyte ga-b75m-d3h . I read on a website that the components on mobo take about a 100w.
    IS this good ? http://www.flipkart.com/cooler-master-gx-550-watts-psu/p/itmd5xz4kkdxshqg?pid=PSUD5XZ43ZJHGJUB&ref=6cf7f1b6-e7d7-4aa4-8a3c-53c3bceb388e
  13. I doubt it draws 100W, it probably draws less than 50W i would think, what website was it?
That PSU is good enough according to the reviews.

No stay away from the Coolermaster GX series...the only Cooleramster PSUs that I would say are OK are the Silent Pro series.
The Seasonic S12II-430 is less expensive, sufficient for your PC and MUCH higher quality: http://www.flipkart.com/seasonic-s12ii-430-watts-psu/p/itmd5xz5bzevdbzp?pid=PSUD5XZ4PQNBPMES&ref=f81eae09-995c-4119-902e-2beeb15341ea
If you think that you need more power, then the S12II-520 is STILL less expensive: http://www.flipkart.com/seasonic-s12ii-520-watts-psu/p/itmd5xz5hzvzt9cx?pid=PSUD5XZ4KFH65H9E&ref=2c2a869d-c277-4c18-a123-cf5e55921d15
If the Seasncs aren't available, then take a look at the Antec VP450 or VP550; they should be less expensive than the Coolermaster PSUs and are better quality.
  15. The Corsair CX430 has is electrically sufficient but as you pointed out it has insufficient PCIe power connectors. I always recommend buying a PSU that has sufficient power connectors so you don't have to use adapters. The Seasonic S12II-430 has sufficient connectors and is the minimum that I would recommend from Flipkart.
  16. The problem i am facing is the local dealers do not have seasonic or corsair. and flipkart is taking 10 days at least to deliver the product. can you suggest another good website (country is india).
  17. Don't know any indian computer sites.
  18. I don't know any websites...give us some of your preferred websites and we can make recommendations.
  19. Ok. Thanks really appreciate your answers.
  20. Wait what do your local retailers sell, do you have a computer shop nearby?
  21. Yeah they all sell cooler masters
  22. If not, then look for a Coolermaster Silent Pro M 500W or Silent Pro M2 520W.
  23. Any of them sell Antec? Superflower? FSP? Enermax? OCZ? XFX? LEPA?
